Update: White House Releases Statement Recognizing EMS Week 2025

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the White House issued a statement recognizing EMS Week 2025 and honoring the brave men and women keeping America safe. Thank you, Mr. President and First Lady!

Throughout these many days, our first responders have worked diligently responding to recent severe weather events, including an EF4 Tornado that caused devistation in both London, KY and Somerset, KY. In addition, crews have responded to damage in Cumberland County, TN and other impacted communities across Tennessee.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our first responders who work tirelessly to keep communities safe. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.
